I’m the Head of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Welfare at FC Nations, and I’ve been part of the club for three seasons. My journey into football began when my daughters, Ella and Izzy, started playing for the girls’ team. Before joining FC Nations, I spent time at Shrewsbury Mereside, where I managed my daughters’ team for two years.
Although I didn’t grow up as a football person, supporting my children inspired me to gain the qualifications and knowledge needed to help them enjoy the game. Now, football has become a huge part of family life, and the off-season always feels a little too quiet.
My role is to ensure that every player, parent, coach, manager and volunteer feels safe, supported and valued. Whether it’s a football-related issue or something more personal, I’m here to help create an inclusive environment where everyone in the FC Nations family can thrive.
Our partnerships help FC Nations create opportunities both on and off the pitch. Through the support of local businesses, organisations and community leaders, we're able to invest in our players, strengthen our programmes and continue building a welcoming club where everyone has the chance to belong and thrive.
